For Music Lovers
The Tourism Offices offer a Music Tour of the Shoals that lasts for a half-day and takes you the Shoals’ famous recording studios—Muscle Shoals Sound and FAME. The tour also includes visits to the W.C. Handy Home and Museum and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.

For Food Enthusiasts
On this tour, participants are welcomed to the Shoals Culinary Center, a commercial culinary center where many local goodies are produced and manufactured. Another stop on the tour is the Spring Park Farmers’ Market a local hotspot for the freshest produce and handmade treats.

For History Fanatics
Learn all the stories, legends and lore surrounding the Shoals’ favorite historical sites. Take a look around Pope’s Tavern, the Edith Culver House and Museum, and the W.C. Handy Home and Museum. Discover the rich history surrounding the Shoals area. Also, tours of the Forks of Cypress Plantation site (where one of the oldest houses in America once stood but was burned in a fire in 1966) can be arranged—a must see for any history buff.

For those who want to experience it all
The Tourism Offices offer full-day tours that take you to all the sites in the Shoals. Walk around historic downtown Florence and learn about our history. Then take in the Frank Lloyd Wright House, Ivy Green, and Pope’s Tavern.
